Raising Kingdom Kids

September 4th - October 9th, 2018

$10

Most of us believe passionately in contributing to our children’s physical, social, and intellectual development. We make sure they have clothes and shelter. We try to see that they eat right, get enough sleep, and monitor their friendships. We also do everything possible to make sure they succeed at school. Featuring the inspiring teaching of Dr. Tony Evans, this six-week DVD-based curriculum calls and instructs parents to raise God-following children who are also spiritually strong and prepared to take on the assignments God has for their lives.

Surrender to Love (a book study)

September 4th - October 9th, 2018

$10

In our self-reliant era, most of us recoil from the concept of surrendering to a power or authority outside ourselves. But surrender need not be seen as threatening, especially when the One to whom we surrender is the epitome of goodness and love.

God doesn't want his people to respond to him out of fear or obligation. Rather, he invites us to enter into an authentic relationship of intimacy and devotion. And so God calls us to move beyond mere obedience―by surrendering to love.

In this group, we will discuss the chapters of the book through personal insight and the included discussion questions.

Fire on the Mountain

September 6th - November 15th, 2018

$10

When the Israelites left Egypt, they were finally free. Free from persecution, free from oppression, and free to worship their God. But with that freedom comes a new challenge – learning how to live together the way God intends. This group will help us to discover how God teaches the Israelites what it means to be part of a community that loves him and what that means for us today.

Acts

September 11th - November 20th, 2018

$10

In this study of Acts, we will discuss the successes and failures of the New Testament church and will encourage the same power in today's local church. In the chapter by chapter study, Luke, the author of Acts, lays down the pattern for the local church life; a community of joyful believers; empowered by the Spirit; serving the Lord and one another; actively enlarging the fellowship; tasting both persecution and God's protection; and participating in His supernatural work.

Philippians

September 12th - October 31st, 2018

It is easy to be happy when things go well. But what would it be like to have a sense of joy that continues even in times of trouble? Such was the deep joy that the apostle Paul experienced-even in prison. His contentment was neither dependent on circumstances nor changed by difficulty. In his brief letter to the Philippians, Paul teaches us how to live joyfully in every situation.
